This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) governs your use of the web and mobile software application Rentify (“Application”), created and maintained by RealAsst Inc. (“We”, “Us” or “Our”).

 

Personally Identifiable Information

The Application collects and stores personally identifiable information you provide as part of the account creation and management process, including, but not limited to, your name, email address and social network access tokens (“Personally Identifiable Information”). We may use the Personally Identifiable Information you provide to contact you from time to time with news, important updates, required notices and marketing promotions. To the extent required for payment processing, Personally Identifiable Information may also be shared with the third party service(s) engaged by Us for the processing of payments.

 

Non-Personally Identifiable Information

The Application may collect and store non-personally identifiable information you provide as part of the normal use of the Application, including, but not limited to, real estate property description and photographs, investment property selection criteria, and other Application settings (“Non-Personally Identifiable Information”). We may use the Non-Personally Identifiable Information you provide, in aggregate (not user level), to provide Us and Our affiliates, partners or other third parties with Application usage statistics. We may also use this information to help Us troubleshoot any issues related to your use of the Application.

 

Automatically Collected Information

The Application may collect and store certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of the device you use, your device’s unique device ID, the IP address of your device, your operating system, the type of Internet browsers you use and information about the way you use the Application (“Automatically Collected Information”). We may use the Automatically Collected Information, in aggregate (not user level), to provide Us and Our affiliates, partners and third parties with Application usage statistics. We may also use this information to help Us troubleshoot any issues related to your use of the Application.

 

Location Information

We may use GPS technology (or other similar technology) to determine your current location in order to display it on the map within the Application. We do not store or share your current location with other users, Our affiliates, partners or other third parties. If you do not want Us to use your location for the purposes set forth above, you can turn off the location services for the Application from your device or browser settings.

 

Use of Tracking Code, Such as Cookies

Tracking Code, such as cookies, enables Us to customize and personalize your experience while using the Application, including the products and promotions that are offered to you. Essentially, a tracking code or cookie is a small amount of data that is sent to and stored on your device. We use these cookies for several purposes in connection with the operation of the Application, including, but not limited to, (i) to identify you and access the information your use of the Application has stored with Us and to notify you about products and services specific to your interests; (ii) to save your login credentials so that you do not have to re-enter them every time you use the Application; and (iii) to estimate Our user base and usage patterns, including, but not limited to, to determine the extent of repeat visits and the user activity during those visits, to provide historical information to help target promotions based on user interests and behavior, both specifically to individual users and on an aggregate basis with respect to all users. Your use of the Application shall act as your consent to Our use of tracking code, such as cookies, to provide for the operation of the Application.

 

Access to Information by Third Parties

We make every effort to collect and use the information you provide in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including the California Consumer Privacy Act and the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation. We may share your Personally Identifiable Information, Non- Personally Identifiable Information and Automatically Collected Information (“Personal Information”) with Our affiliates, partners or third parties only in the ways that are described as follows: (i) as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process; (ii) when We believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect Our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request; (iii) if RealAsst Inc. is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, in which case you will be notified via email and/or a prominent notice on Our website of any change in ownership or uses of your Personal Information, as well as any choices you may have regarding this information; (iv) to provide Our affiliates, partners or other third-parties with Application

usage statistics, in which case your Personal Information will only be shared in aggregate (not user level); (v) to provide marketing and promotional communication to you from Us based on your usage of the Application; and/or (vi) to provide for the functionality of the Application, including, but not limited to, processing of payments. Your use of the Application shall act as your consent to the use of the information as described in this Privacy Policy.

 

Data Storage and Handling

The Application may store and handle the Personal Information you provide on your device and/or on the cloud server(s) chosen by Us as Our data storage provider(s). In the case of Our use of a third party data storage provider, the data retention and security of your Personal Information is subject to and governed by the terms and conditions and privacy policy of said third party data storage provider. While We make every reasonable effort to ensure the third party data storage provider(s) We select use industry standard security measures for the storage and handling of data, no first or third party data storage or handling can provide for absolute data security and prevent all potential security breaches.

 

Data Retention

We will retain your Personal Information in full or in aggregate format, for as long as you use the Application and for an undetermined time thereafter, depending upon the factors deemed appropriate by Us. If you’d like Us to permanently delete the Personal Information that you have provided via the Application, please contact Us at support@RealAsst.com

 

Security

We are concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your Personal Information. We provide physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information We process, store and maintain. For example, We limit access to this information to authorized employees and contractors who need to know that information in order to operate, develop or improve the Application. Please be aware that, although We make every reasonable effort to ensure that We and/or the third party data storage provider(s) We select provide industry standard security for information processed, stored, and maintained by Us or the third party data storage provider(s), no first or third party data storage or handling can provide for absolute data security and prevent all potential security breaches.

 

Opt-Out Rights

You can stop all collection of Personal Information by the Application by uninstalling the Application from your mobile device or ceasing its use through the browser. Furthermore, you can request permanent deletion of your Personal Information from Our archives by emailing Us at support@RealAsst.com.

 

Children

We do not use the Application to knowingly solicit information from or market to children under the age of 13. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided Us with information without their consent, he or she should contact Us at support@RealAsst.com We will delete such information from Our archives within a reasonable time.

 

Your Consent

By using the Application, you are consenting to Our processing of your Personal Information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by Us in the future. “Processing” shall mean using or touching the information in any way, including, but not limited to, collecting, transferring, storing, deleting, using, combining and disclosing such information, all of which activities will take place in the United States. If you reside outside the United States, your Personal Information will be transferred, processed and stored there under the privacy standards of the State of California, United States of America.

 

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. We will notify you of any changes to this Privacy Policy by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use of the Application is deemed approval of all changes.
